One of my father's American friends served in Vietnam, and he has never shown any problem of the sort, somehow he was just more gay and happy afterwards.

I could say this particular friend of my father's is a total trigger-happy nutjob who loved war, but the truth is, how high is everyone's breaking point...

My great uncle fought in Vietnam, and he came home obviously stressed out but he didn't suffer from PTSD. And now, he's one of the nicest people you could meet. However, everyone of his friends who made it back alive ended up committing suicide.
