This new album will arrive in perfect time, having given me nearly exactly the amount of time needed to fully appreciate Psychédélices.

Je suis trop impatient!

I'm really happy that you have. Psychédélices is a great album. Many of my favorite songs come from the Mylene era, but my all-time favorite Alizée song remains Par les Paupieres, with Psychédélices itself very close. Also you have to appreciate it for the fact that it reflects Alizée herself much more, rather than a reflection of Mylene.

Talking Plpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp!!!!

Yes, PLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP.....!
What I mean by that is I so agree with Pepe and CF, that PLP is so amazing a song that it could go on for eight hours. At less then 4 1/2 minutes, it's just crushing when it comes to the end!

I like a lot of kinds of music: rock, blues, pop, reggae, some country, some hip-hop. But I never heard anything like that song. The 'Acoustic' video on this site is also amazing, and the version they do in there is amazing too.

Y'know, this it a lot of fun - chatting and plotting along with all you other rabid fanatics! I don't know if there's a rollingstones forum or fansite, but I still ain't really curious to find out. But this French singer--

I mean, DID ANYBODY ELSE SEE HER SING "MA PRIERE" ON YOUTUBE ? April 14 2000? (Yeah, you probably all did already.) I just cannot believe.

In some ways, yeah, I almost see the Mylene-Laurent years as a decent bridge period. I've got earlier discs, but Psychedélices is way my favorite, and in some ways, it's so different -- and she's so different since then -- that I see Psych almost as if it were Alizée's first solo cd.

Dam, it`s getting late! bye all.

Wow, I rewatched the Ma Priere performance by her thanks to your reminder.
I have to say, I was a little bit touched.
Of course though, I have a bit of an emotional underbelly for memories and of course, a musician's history. It's like looking back at childhood (for me, literally).

It's great to see people coming out in support of Psychedelices. It's a great album, easily my favourite Alizee album. It's a real pity that it didn't sell better in France (well, everywhere except Mexico really!!), it certainly deserved to.
