From what I've seen so far, these were very good performances by Alizée. I hope this helps her gain a better following.

It was strange for me to hear her sing the words, "Highway 61", in "L'americain" since I drive on Highway 61 every day.

I imagine she was able to get on the program since he worked on her new album. Success is all about who you know in the business.

I can't see the point in this.. shym is new on the scene and will be forgotten in time.. Alizée won't.

It's funny though... he was involved with the making of two songs, but neither of them will be on the new album.

There's been some lines of some songs in Les Enfoires over the years where I thought she sounded great, but nothing has come close to this song, where her voice sounded great from start to finish. The only other song since 2003 that I've liked was PLP. The Vanessa Paradis song she sang in Israel also had very good sections,but there were spots that were out of her range and like I said, this whole song sounded great.

I was having some doubts as to whether it would ever happen again. Well it just did.

EDIT: I've been so busy getting ready for my trip that I really haven't had time to keep up with what's been going on. Then I come here and find this. What happened? Why hasn't anyone been able to capture the beauty of her voice the way this song has? Unbelievable. For the first time in years, I'm watching one of her performances over and over again; despite you know what!

It looked like MP couldn't take his eyes off her when she was singing.

I have to admit, I, too had doubts about Alizee's range. I was a little nervous while watching her yesterday. But, I guess, we under-estimated her talent!

I was just about to post the HD version of "La vie par procuration" that Maju posted over at AF.. just lost track of time though.
