Alizée ahead of the curve on style

I have noticed that lately, women in my area are wearing the Louise Brooks "bob" style haircut that Alizée has been wearing for about a year now.
While Alizée possibly has moved on to a different style as her hair grows out, the women here are just getting into this style.

Thank goodness for Alizée's fashion sensibility. While I don't consciously follow fashion, it's nice to know that just by following Alizée, we are treated to such things as a by-product of our love and affection for her many talents.

that style has been around for years. maybe you just started noticing it because of alizee.

That is very possible. However, the women I have seen wearing this style of hair have all been getting it recently after having other hairstyles.

It could be co-incidence, like owning a certain car and being more aware of them after buying one.

She wore the "lumberjack" shirt a year ago and those checked shirts are supposed to be trendy this autumn, at least here in Sweden/Europe, as far as I have read anyway, I don't know much about fashion. I've also noticed women with fur-vest like these http://i37.tinypic.com/2552es2.jpg don't know date of the pic though(?) and if they are supposed to be the right thing to wear.

I bought the Criterion DVD of "Pandora's Box" a couple months ago and developed a bit of a crush on Louise Brooks, despite the fact that she's been dead for 24 years. She was quite attractive in the 1920's and 30's.
