'Youpidoo' may be related in meaning to 'whoopidoo', which is a sarcastic way of saying "big deal" or "so what, who cares".
When I listen to 'Youpidoo' (the song), Alizee's voice doesn't sound sarcastic; But when I read the English lyrics of the song, some phrases may be interpreted as being sarcastic. |

i see.. my first thought that it was just some random cute little word that she made up.
and vista, i too read up the lyrics in english.. and im not too sure if it comes off as sarcastic. but then again, i find that translated lyrics aren't exactly accurate in conveying the same message as the song does in French.
