As for the thread - no, NATO will not go to war with Russia over an issue like this. 2008 Russia might not be as big a superpower as the USSR was, but she still has the ability to defend herself with conventional weapons and destroy the world with nukes - hardly a nation that can be 'taken out'.

And as for Russians not supporting the current regime - very few of them supported Stalin in 1941, but 20 million died defeating the vast bulk of the German Army and Air Force. So history suggests they are no push overs, whoever is in charge. (They can even defeat Corsicans).

And as the US (and the UK) seem happy enough invading countries, I find it strange that they have the cheek to complain about the Russians doing similar (but on a much smaller scale).

Well, it could be an American who REALLY needs to take some grammar classes, or it's a Georgian who can't speak English very well.

From the picture provided we cannot be sure since it doesn't list the location of the poster. So, I'm inclined to go with the former.
