It's been a pleasure

Six months ago I (re)discovered Alizée; four weeks ago, I stopped being a fan.

Being an Alizée fan has been one of the greatest experiences of my life, but I knew from the very beginning that my fandom would one day end, and that day has finally arrived. And although I still love Alizée’s music, I don’t think the title of “fan” accurately describes how I feel for her anymore. Regardless, Alizée had a huge impact on my life, and I shall always remember that name, and the person behind it.

I leave this site honored and grateful to have been part of such a wonderful community. AlizéeAmerica is filled with some of the nicest people that I ever had the pleasure of meeting, and even though there have been a couple of trolls here and there, the image of this site that I take with me is one composed by caring people united by something greater than themselves, Alizée.

I’ve struggled with the decision of leaving AAm for the past few days; however, I feel it’s something that needs to happen. Some people might argue that this thread wasn’t necessary, but I think it provides me with some closure and helps make sure that a part of me of stays behind with the site.

To my friends, MA, Aaronius, Tom, and all the others; I say take care, and to everyone else, to hell with you. jk
I hope to come back some day humming JPVA, but for now, it’s been a pleasure.

Just because you are no longer a "fan" means you must leave, there are many that have just simply stayed along just for the people they talked to the most. But if you truly feel that way then I won't stop you. It's your decision and I hope you chose the right one.

I think we have chatted once or twice. It has been always nice to find new & good buddies around in AAm and you are definitely one of them.
Rightly said by AlizéeInspired that when Lili will become more active then you'll surely gonna return to her ultimate fan base "Alizée America"
And remember, if you come across any problem in your life then keep in mind that Alizée is always there for you with her songs and personality.........
