That is so great. Wow. That's exposure I couldn't hope to create, at least here in the US. Like you said, for people who know little or nothing about Alizée, this is a great article. Now they can and hopefully will find out for themselves what Alizée is. You certainly put in a great effort to get people intrigued. I hope it works.

Actually, Oakland University is in Rochester, Michigan. According to Wikipedia, it's named for Oakland County, "the wealthiest county in Michigan and one of the most affluent counties in the United States."

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. Hopefully the review will rope in some new fans (if it hasn't already), or at the very least plant Alizée's name in their memories, so that at some point they'll think to look her up on Google or YouTube (essentially what happened to me).

I'm not sure how feasible that'd be. It's one thing for a college paper to run Associated Press stories (which my school paper does for some world news in the last section). It's a whole different matter for the paper of one college to run stories by students of another. If I had to guess I'd say it's probably not a good idea, since for all I know OU may "own" my story now.
