We who have followed Alizee have come to love her for her beauty, her grace , her modesty and singing talent.
When we see a picture of her , no matter what kind of picture , we see the whole package, and not just the surface. Her beauty lies in her person, which her looks are part of.

Everyone's taste is different. Not everyone will see Alizée as we see her, and that is to be expected.
While I wish she had a larger fan base to help her success in the biz, some of the people mentioned in this thread, such as Christina Aguilera, Angelina Jolie, Mariah Carey, et. al., are nothing more then american-made personalities, yet I see nothing exceptional in any of them. Certainly they are not nearly as beautiful as Alizée in natural beauty, talent, whatever. This is just my opinion, and others will naturally state that I am wrong, but I don't find american women to be as beautiful, in general, as the French women are.

Of course, there are exceptions to everything, but given what I have seen from my eyes, and that is all I can go by, I'll take Alizée over any other woman that I have seen.

When someone tells me that they don't see in Alziée what I see in her, I just think that it is their loss, not mine.
