(Oxmo Puccino and Darc are both lyricists, they don't really write music. The two Puccino songs on Lili's album were composed by Jeremy, Sylvain, and Kore; the Darc tracks by his longtime collaborator Fredrick Lo. The only other person to contribute musically was Bertrand Burgalat on L’effet.) |

Thanks for clearing that up, Snatcher. By the way, who composed PLP?
Also, I put both covers of Bonita on my playlist, and after listening to both back-to-back (the new one first), I have to say the old cover sounds like a bore. This new stuff is great! I'm not sure what the early versions sounded like that you guys listened to and had negative reactions over at the beginning of the thread, but the one on her MySpace is wonderful. |

This newer version is waaaay better than the original I think. She really makes it her own. I like the part where shes humming to the beat, reminds me of the JEAM humming

I really like the new version and does anyone think that maybe this version of the song could introduce Alizée into the US ?

My favorite part of the new Bonita is the whole "Laa, lala lum, lum lala, laalaa lum" business between verses. In fact, I might go so far as to say it's one of my favorite Alizée-isms to date! |

Very nicely composed. It's one of those songs you can't help but move to the beat with.
