Taking New England with the spread is like taking candy from a baby - they are going to SPANK the Giants SOOOOOOOO Bad its not even going to be funny...............

I am a Giants fan (as much as I am a fan of anything OTHER than Alizée) - but they don't stand a chance against New England..... It is going to be a complete humiliation.

My guess for the game?

New England 42 New York Giants 17

I think it all depends on the first quarter. If the Pats get ahead by more than 10 points early then I believe it will be a route by 30+ points.

If the Giants can keep it close going into halftime they will have gained even more confidence and the Pats will have lost some, and then the Giants have a shot to win....if they play very well...and if the refs don't give the Pats the game such as the case many times this year.

I think I overheard someone at the supermarket mention that there's a football game on today. Don't know more than that.

I dont know who to root for. New York beat my cowboys but their also the underdog which I like to take. Well If I root for ny and they win then at least it was the super bowl champs who beat the boys.

Even though the Giants are a Division rival to my Redskins, I am very impressed with how they have come together as a team.

Let me take all back down memory lane. This season they were 0-2 going into play my Redskins. At halftime the Giants were down 14 (it may have been 17..can't remember). So they were well on their way to an 0-3 start. They came back and won that game and extended a SIX game winning streak.

They almost beat NE in the final game of the season, and then went on to knock off every Division champion in their conference (save Seattle, who was already knocked off)...AWAY. These guys seem to get better each week...they are better than than many folks think. They could win this game.

That said, I have mixed feelings. Watching a team go 19-0 in my lifetime is something to remember. On the flip side, watching a team come from where the Giants were in the beginning of this season to where they are today...to knock off that "once in a lifetime" as a 12 point underdog.....now that's something to remember too.

NE looks to be the better overall team. But the Giants are peaking at the perfect time....they're clicking on all cylinders so to speak...and they believe in themselves. You can never tell with super bowls due to all the pressure, but this can turn out to be a very good and very close game. Then again, anything can happen.

If I were a betting man, I would take Giants with the points.
