I enjoyed this remake, however, this is the second remake of this film. In 1960 Swedish director Ingmar Bergman made a film called "The Virgin Spring". Wes Craven remade it in 1972 and called it "The Last House On The Left". Well, this new film is a remake of the 1972 film.

"The Virgin Spring" is my favorite adaptation.

I thought that was the scariest movie I have ever watched in my whole life. That beats Clover Field and Quarantine in my book!

In case you didn't know "Quarantine" is a remake of a spanish film entitled "REC". "REC" is MUCH scarier and way better, trust me on this one! Do yourself a favor and check out the original film.

Recently I saw Demons of war (original title: Demony wojny wg Goi).
Set in the mid-1990s, a group of Polish peacekeeping forces are stationed in the territory of former Yugoslavia. The peacekeepers receive a distress message pleading for help in their area after a helicopter crash. UN orders are to stay in military base. A small team of soldiers is sent out to assist, but their short mission turns into a challenge, as the opposition is well trained and ready for a fight. There is also a political plot, on their way they find 2 French diplomats with a very important video tape...

Great film with many famous Polish actors. It shows real war with its brutality and real men, not great heroes, normal soldiers with their fear and emotions, and also people who accidentaly find themselves in such situation.

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer

Ok first off, don't watch this movie while eating pizza... Atleast not the first 10 minutes

Great movie in overall, but the photo and the storyline were highlights in particular. What I liked the most was the swift changes to the mood by the storyline which really caught you off-guard. This being displayed by the very distinctive athmospharic photo becomes very effectful. The feelings of magical beauty and serenity is turned into the most sinister of disgust in a split second and you don't really know what to feel or think. Everything just happens too suddenly.

So, great movie and save the pizza for later

I liked this film and have seen it twice in theaters so far. While the ending was okay, it was only 1 of 3 endings shot. You might want to google the other 2 and decide which of the 3 you like most. Hopefully, the other 2 will be on the DVD.
