[2018-09-08] Singing - Farewell to Summer - Warsaw

What a huge day coming up for not so much Alizée, but her fans. Even if this doesn't go well for her and she's not able to pursue further her singing career, I'm sure they'll survive financially.

But for many of her fans, I think a lot of us had all but given up on the idea that we might get to see her sing and dance to her own songs again. My only glimmer of hope for something in the future was seeing her on Les Enfoires but as I said, it was just a glimmer.

I'm sure she wants another baby and I think we all felt that would happen soon and that probably would've put a year at least, maybe 2, delay to her singing career.

Now to have these appearances in Warsaw and Mexico to come out of the blue to me is really a miracle.

I have some concerns about how well these shows will do, especially if they were put together hastily, but the fact that after much time off during the summer, Alizee is in tremendous shape, so I have to think these shows were in the mix for a while, which makes me optimistic.

I also think even if they don't do well, there seems to be a new collaboration with MF which will probably pay huge dividends later.

Miracle is an understatement. After the Blonde bomb, I thought singing was done for Alizee and she was concentrating on a fresh start with the dancing school and a new husband. Furthermore, I thought she would be carrying Jr. around her waist by now.

Things changed in a hurry.

There have been clues that MF is back in her life to some extent. The picture with Julia was a biggie. This rapid weight loss that Alizee had signaled me that she wants to improve her stage presence, and that there is some sort of long term plan other than making a few bucks on the side singing a couple of shows.

As far as how her shows will go, we don't have to wait long to find out... Tomorrow!

Great to see you managed to get to the concert. I recognize a few forum members, hope you had all a great time.

She did indeed! It was about that Alizée wanted some background dancers for her next song (Blonde) so this was the casting for the audience, it was just fun. Afterwards she even pointed towards me that I could go on the stage with some others but the security lady wouldn't let me.

But it was a wonderful evening, yes she didn't dance much and didn't have any background dancers or musicians, the background music was pre-recorded - but who f***ing cares? She was enjoying herself, the audience was enjoying it too, her singing was great, she was acting and looking super lovely. And her English was really nice too.

Also in the afternoon she was doing the soundcheck and afterwards signed stuff for the waiting fans so I even got a photo with her and an autograph (luckily RMJ had several pictures of her because I didn't have anything to sign), so this was an absolutely fantastic day!

The rain was just a bit annoying. It started around the same time she started singing. And sadly we only were allowed to take photos/videos during the first 3 songs, they were very strict about it.
