I'm so happy that they're building these towers again......but to be honest what's this really going to prove I have a lot to say about 9/11 but I can't here........I JUST MISS THE ORGINAL TOWERS!!!

It's a great city for sure. You guys might find it funny and strange, but last time I went there, I was so happy and excited to see so many people there. Reminded me of India. State College, where I currently live, is a small town and streets are not crowded at all. Especially, right now when the semester is over, it looks like a graveyard.

To me, it proves that we as a nation have the strength and resilience to recover from a terrible event like 9/11.

Not sure if that's what they're trying to accomplish, though

I think that they're trying to show the power of the American spirit and the American ideal

Personally I think they'd accomplish it better by making a thirty story McDonalds-Starbucks combo building... that'd be a giant middle finger to whoever they're trying to flip off

You really should look to see whether the pictures are ok to take. It could be an expensive endeavour if you don't...

There is something ironic about this being the Freedom Tower in 'the land of the free' - yet one of the most uber patriotic Americans on this site is getting threatened with court over pictures of it.
