I’ve heard that it’s only one Spanish song as well. I think the idea of a song in English was speculation only. I suppose it depends on whether she intends to target a broader audience internationally, or just targeting her homeland to try to win them over again.

Then again, she may not be targeting any group in particular. She may just be trying to put out as good of an album as she can. An album she can be pleased with and proud of, and hopefully will appeal to a broad audience in general. I think this is probably the case and the Spanish song is simply a gift to the people who played a huge part in keeping her career alive. I’m sure she has a lot of appreciation for the Mexican fans.

As far as her current English speaking fans are concerned, most of them seem to prefer her singing in French anyway and I think she knows it. Of course an English song could also be a symbolic gesture showing appreciation for her English speaking fans as well. Regardless, we may hear a little English interspersed in the lyrics just like on Psych.

i sincerely hope that Alizee doesn't suffer the same fate.

i don't think i need to elaborate on the terrible repercussions it would have worldwide.

*cough cough* MASS SUICIDES!
