Alizee's Hat story...

I take this picture of hats on a market, in the 4th district in Paris.

It remind me that it was really close to the place that I once meet Miss A (N°1).

And that someone else did meet her on N°2 place ( I remember have seen a photo of that).

She was wearing this hat, when I met her.
Now I ask myself... did she had the idea of bying this hat when she was in this district...?

Well, it's maybe not top level investigation... but it's a funny fact...

I think it is reversed BigDan. That store in the district figured out Alizée was wearing a new hat, so they ordered 500 of them. People bought them so fast that it looks like there were only 10 on the rack

I like to get exact locations for things like this. Though it's very possible Alizée may have bought her hat here, there are several little sidewalk stores around Paris like this and then again she may have bought it in a store, so I guess we can't truely classify it as a place where she's been, but who knows. The other site Bigdan referenced was I believe where a photo was taken of her with her brother and it's also just a couple of blocks away from where J'ai pas vingt ans was performed at the Hotel de Ville (City hall) during the 100th running of the Tour de France.

I wonder if we should make a sticky thread if it isn't one already of places where Alizee has performed or been seen in Paris. Undoubtedly there will be more sightings and there will be members who go to Paris from time to time ( I think we had 2 members go this year) and it would be nice if we didn't have to go digging through the records everytime we looked for a thread about Alizee in Paris.Of course that great map Bigdan made would absolutely have to be a part of it, if he's okay with that?

I'm going on vacation in october and it looks like I will be going back to France. I like visiting sites related to WW 1 and 2. I'm thinking about going up to Arnhem ( A bridge too far) in the Netherlands first, then going down to France visiting Dunkirk, Dieppe, maybe the Pegsus bridge and the U boat pens at St Nazaire. The same place where a famous raid took place by British commandos to blow up the dry dock there. I will most likely fly through Paris there and back and I hope to spend a day there. I'd like to stop at the small record store that used to stock a lot of Alizee records. Don't know if they do now. It's only a couple of blocks away from the Hotel de Ville.

I know huh!... it's almost as if Google Maps is stalking Alizee!.. I wouldn't be surprised... I mean, if I were controlling the earth's satellites... I would probably focus them all on her too... Muwahahahaha!

Well I updated the picture from Google earth to show the location of the new store (5). The original store had a big selection of Mylene Farmer material and if you click on the link Bigdan posted, they still do. As far as Alizee, they used to have a lot, but now they just showed the one Psych album. I'm hoping they might have more inside. If Bigdan ever happens to be in the area, maybe he could check it out.
