I like that she releases an album when she wants and that it represents a product of her art, not some market researched hype. Her model is an artist like Madonna that reinvents herself, I'm just glad Alizée, so far, doesn't have the baggage that Madonna has. Also that she is staying away from the "sharks and snakes" as she calls them. She may not see platinum again because she doesn't play the game, but thats fine by me. Quality over quantity.
The only thing I ask is that she brings back some of those 60's style go-go dancing that she used to do... its sexy, yes, but far more tasteful than the vulgar stuff you see today. I dare say that she should be proud that she trademarked the embodiment of sexy while retaining her class and self respect. She has a gift that she should share...
