Default Air France Flight 447 crash

(Mod's note: Continued from Alizée's tweet about the accident in this post here. - Ruroshen)

The plane is lost in the Atlantic ocean about in the mid of it. So, chances are really very slim to find any one alive.

It is indeed very sad.
My heart skips a beat these days when anything about France is mentioned on the news.

President Sarkozy all but ruled out any chance of survivors earlier today. Is it just me or has there been a huge upsurge in plane crashes/accidents in the last few years ? I wonder whether it has to do with a lack of proper training for pilots, insufficient inspection, or lax regulations . Or maybe it's just a huge coincidence.

The spirits of the angry nature are beginning to attack against us, the human race, its greatest foe in strength and number.

(Or it could be the unfortunate coincidence to fly straight into a malevolent storm of hatred)

Not really (althogh I had the same impression). According to that list (it's in german but you can see the dates) 2005 and 2006 were really bad years when it comes to plane crashes, 2007 and 2008 not so much. Two crashes (including this one) in 2009 so far.

I think it's pretty clear by now that everyone on this flight is dead, really sad.

This is really sad, it must have been a huge storm if the plane couldn't avoid it.
May god bless their families. The truth is the plane that went down in the Hudson river and everyone got out it a rarity, most of the times when a plane has to ditch like that, there wont be anything left of the plane. Truly tragic.

And no dreamer at least 3 (I think I am forgetting one) crashes this year, I know this because 2 where near me or family. One was in Buffalo 5 miles from my University, and the other one was in NYC in the Hudson River and I think there is one more im forgetting and there is this one.

Well, the article I linked to only lists crashes with many victims. It has the one in Buffalo. Nobody died in NYC and only two people died in the FedEx crash .
