i don't think that she's gotten worse at singing, but that she's just changed the style of what she sings. i mean the songs on her last album is obviously very different that those of the previous albums. just compare.. say, Decollage to Parler Tout Bas?
her newer songs are just more "pop"like whereas her older songs were more slow and really showed off her voice.

I agree with you, by Alizee choosing this new type of music we hear less her voice quality, and we see an Alizee starting a new chapter in her career by modernizing and changing her music. I just hope with this new album she could combine everything together and hear a Alizee from the past, present, and future. I think she will once again surprises us with this new album!=)

Alizée has a very unique cute voice that fits well with her personality !! That said she doesn't have a natural singing voice, like others have said already her singing requires a little more training and practice. A good sample of natural singing ability could be heard in the voices of Natasha St. Pier, Jenifer Bartoli, Nolwenn Leroy, Laura Pausini, etc. It's one thing to have a passion for singing, and another to sing with passion. If you can feel the passion in their singing, then you know they have a good singing voice...
That said, this doesn't guaranty that everyone will like them because of their great singing voice, there's other factors involved in liking an artist, like the style of music they play, the artist's appearance and the way they portray themselves, etc. Everyone has their own criteria of this...

i think whens she just talking, like during interviews or when she's calling out/talking to the fans during her concerts, it's just adorable.
(especially at the end of the en concert dvd. )
