Warcraft is one of the best games out there. It's like an interactive storybook I share with my friends. Why complain about something that has helped tons of people(me and 2 friends specifically) discover Alizee?

Don't be so quick to knock it.

Well, the problem with World of Warcraft isn't that it's a bad game. It's an incredible game, and took the MMORPG genre to a whole new dimension. The problem with it is that it's incredibly time consuming. It's very difficult to play a little bit of it at a time, because you're playing it with other people who have demands on you just like with any social situation.

I had fun with it, but I just don't have the time for it any more.

The JEAM dance being in Warcraft has been all good news for her. Just look through the New Members thread if you want examples , there are dozens of people that found her thanks to the game, then got infected with the Lili bug and went on to buy her music. It has worked as a great advertisement of sorts here in America.

I wonder how many Chinese found out about Alizée that way. I heard a couple years back that the largest group of players were Chinese, like 2 or 4 million (can't remember). I actually have met one other person who knew about Alizée and he (and his wife, actually) were WoW players and that's how they found out about her. He didn't really take much interest though, though I tried to force him (without much difficulty) into watching videos now and then, etc.

I'm sure there's a thread for all of this though. Do we need a 'Who likes/hates WoW?' thread?

Yeah we did but paying for game is stupid, and when I discovered Alizee from that game a few days later I deleted my account. I am done playing and wasting time. It was cool at first but then it is just bad because it gets serious. I love Alizee and I stopped playing to listen to her music.

Ok off topic. Who loves Alizee?

Thank you fsquared for that news piece. I just wish it would be sooner, say, before the release of her video. It seems like there's very little promotion happening for her new single and album. Of course, if one wants to get into discussion of that, he need only go to Alizee-forum where the likes of Orion and RMJ lament it almost enough for all of us. They are so right, though. I'm glad we at least have the opportunity to vote her up in a couple places and thereby do something to affect people outside this forum.
