I think so too. Maybe I'm just too much of a hipster? It just seems like they shoehorned it in just to go with the touchscreen gaming trend (Wii U, PS Vita, Xbox Surface, etc). I just don't really see the point in putting a touchscreen on the controller when you already control the whole game with buttons.
