That's an "official/moderator" account.

A forum erected for a random 5 year old in the pre-internet is pretty odd, don't you think?

What, exactly, are those things in your signature Jalen?

You've said that they're ocinaras.. but what the heck are they?

They're ocarinas! Clay flutes! They're magical!

They're also symbolic of the Legend of Zelda series, where ocarinas made an appearance in four (I think) of the games. Particularly The Ocarina of Time. Come on, Wasab', don't you play Zelda?

Oooh, right, Ocarinas, not ocinaras.
I've actually played Zelda once I think, but I don't remember there being a flute thingy. The version I played was that old Nintendo thingy.

Looked something like this:

^That game is The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It was the first game that had an ocarina in it, but they called it ‹the flute› instead of an ocarina.

Honestly, the only thing I remember from that game is weed wacking and smashing pots.

(There once was a time when I wore my full link suit, sword and shield over shoulder, ocarina at my side, and would play the entire game of Ocarina of Time pretty much every saturday)

Goddamn I want to get this ocarina so bad. It's accurate, it's perfectly tuned (I own another spencer, but just a plain concert AC).... but Mr. Register only makes like 4 of them a year, and the cheapest one I've seen went for about $550

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Nad5AJaIcBI?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Nad5AJaIcBI?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

I was actually in talks with this guy (Darren Songbird) to take pictures of myself (in link garb) with some of his ocarinas for his website, and he was going to give me some cash and let me test new ocarinas he made. Friggin ass just all of a sudden stopped responding... and no ocarina for me....

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Wh1xwe-bg9o?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Wh1xwe-bg9o?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Koreans represent: one of the best ocarina's I've ever played was made in Korea. This is a triple-chambered variant (mine is a single chambered one) played by the guy's son.
