I take it you're going to the party then. My attitude towards such things is unchanged. I can't afford a trip to France next month anyway, but if I could I still wouldn't be interested in meeting Alizée at a fan event. The real thing or nothing. As a fan, I prefer to keep more distance.

Im glad to see she may be coming around. Her photo on her page is very sexy and very Alizee. This slipping into chubby folk singer on a chair with a flower in her hair wouldnt fly.
She looks good and thats important.

The music is interesting. Kind of techno. I look forward to hear the other songs.

I don't know if I will be able to get into the party, but I'm hoping that they'll have another autograph session like they did back in 2007. I'd really much rather go to a concert, but my track record isn't so good. 0 for 2 if you know what I mean.

Eh, I wouldn't do that either, myself. The big problem for me is that I feel such a connection with Alizée that any such faux encounter would be frustrating and feel wrong. I'd rather not. If I can someday meet her in a "normal" setting where her celebrity-ness is not a factor, that would be great; otherwise, I'd rather keep a distance.

The likelihood that I will meet Alizée on a fan/celebrity basis is small to begin with. The chances of meeting her on a real person to person basis is almost impossible. But I feel the same way you do, Deep. I would prefer the latter. But if you have established yourself in Alizée's eyes as the former, I doubt the latter can never happen.

Edit: OOPS! I meant to say I doubt whether the latter can EVER happen. That really changes things...

I'm pretty sure most of us here feel the same way. The thing is that I come from a lower middle-class family so any chance of meeting her at all i very small. But I still have hope for that one day I do, whether it be autograph signing or what ever, and I'll treasure that moment forever.
