Spreading the word and your conversion rate

So how many people are aware of lili and her existence because of you? How many people have become lili fanatics because of you? Share how many you have spread the word to and your conversion rate. Here's mine:

Knows Alizée now because of me: 7

Lili fanatics made: 2

Conversion rate: 28.6%

I have only known lili for less than three months myself. Let's see you guys' numbers!

nobody has laughed at me yet, but then i've been sort of careful with people i pick, people that can respect my tastes. well i do have one friend that knows how fanatical i have gotten, and tells me that he's worried about me everytime i bring up lili. but i know what you mean; for example, i gave my sister lili CD couple months ago and she listens to it in her car but she has no idea who she is. i think she might be one of the people that might laugh, so i'm holding back at the moment. i'm just waiting for the right moment to reveal to her about alizee.

Erm, 1 out of 4,107, which makes 0.024%

About 20 expressed 'wow' which is a better 0.49%.

Although to be honest I was trying to promote Alizée on possibly the most Francophobic website on the planet.

She got her own appreciation thread and was even put forward as a 'pin-up' for the site (neither instagated by me!).

I haven't made any attempt at "conversion" so to speak, I just talk incessantly about her. I don't like when others try to convert me, regardless of subject, so I try to avoid consciously doing it to others.

As far as people who are aware of her now, where they weren't before... uhh... I think we're looking in the range of a dozen or so people. Responses have ranged from "Daaaaaannnnnggggg" (spoken by my female boss when she saw a photo I had as my desktop) up the way to recognizing her music (My mother, 3500 miles away, watched the movie "A Good Year." Shortly afterwards, she called me and said "Hey, I heard Alizée in a movie I just watched!")

In order to fully understand your boss's reaction, I think we would have to have some of which photo you put on your desktop (e.g. head shot? JEAM regalia? etc.)

Thats a great story lol I would have missed it thanks for the link fsquared.

In my own right I have only told 4 people about her. They know I listen to her and I like to mention her from time to time. I have not sent clips to the people though and I think I prolly should. Of the 2 are girls so maybe they could get into if I actually showed it to them as long as they dont mind it being in French. Maybe start with a few english Lili songs, you think? The other 2 are my brothers and they havn't watched her yet either. One of them teases me from time to time by impersonating some of Alizée's dance moves that he finds silly. He sit's next to me because we both have our own computers and they sit next to eachother, but he hasent really watched Alizée and I always use headphones so he hasen't really heard her either. That's how he knows the dance motions though. It is actually quite funny sometimes watching him do JPVA hand motions or JEAM finger and hand motions. The first time he did it I just couldn't help myself and just laughed so much and had on a big goofy smile for some time after that. I still get a good laugh and smile going when he does it now. He's not doing it to be mean. He is just silly so its all in good fun.
