Can't wait to see you guys' opinions. These are my favorite threads, they give the ability to see something special about a particular song you may have missed.

Smile Simply Amazing

I am just now starting the second round.
First impression = WOW.
1st favorite is Eden, Eden. I love her voice. It is melting me away tonight. Brought a tear to my eyes immediately (her voice isn't covered up). After hearing a limelight teaser I was so afraid the whole album would be "electroness" covering up that wonderful voice.
2nd favorite is Mes Fantomes.
What a way to start and end an album.
Granted I do not understand the lyrics but I think it allows me to focus on the beauty of it all.
Round two... will it change my mind????
Grand Central is weighing in..

I had the same fear after limelight. One song like that is fine, but not a whole album. But I don't agree with the rest of you on Mes Fantômes, I like it, but it doesn't get to me like the rest of you. Great song, but not better than EE.

Default Make up my mind, would ya

After listening with the headphones I found myself repeating Mes Fantomes six times. Just freakin' awesome. How can you choose one favorite? No way. Now I have to listen to the whole album again. Danged the good luck anyways. I am so happy this album has surpassed my expectations. I should be asleep but I must listen again. Eden, Eden is on. Here's to a sleepless night

Edit:

After listening to this with the headphones I am no longer afraid of it. Try it.

Ok so since this album is 36minutes long I have had time to listen to it 4 times since I got it 2 days ago. Although most of the electro songs are AMAZING!!! I still think Mes Fantomes will be my overall favorite, just cause it incorporates her amazing vocals into Rob and Marmonts most amazing electroness. I can't put the songs to titles yet but I will verify my second and third choices later on

Three Loops that's being used in Grand Central!

1. Hip Hop (Bottle Kinda Loops) - from MJ's - Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough
2. Christmas Ride Cymbal - from MJ's - Jam (but this is commonly used loops)
3. The Beats - from MJ's - Your Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground) this loop is also called as TOM drums! with some snare hehe

Never said Limelight was in and of itself scray, just was scared the whole album would be like that. I love Limelight (epic intro ftw), but a whole album like that? Ugh... Only thing I don't like about it is when she says 'sweat', just sounds wierd. *shudders
