Sorry, I have been gone today. I will start the poll, after this post. Once it is there, go stark-raving-mad. Hate on the freaking abracadabra cat, or tell why she needs to stay away from rap. Or reggae. Or jazz. Or, tell why that youpidou kid blows. Whatever. None of those are my opinion, I will give that once I start the poll and vote myself. So, wait one min...

Ok, vote away! Lui Ou Toi: Alizée does not do power ballads, or love songs, very well. Hey ! Amigo !: Not sure, but it just had tight competition on MCÉ. L'effet: never really liked jazz. Mes Fantômes: yeah, grab you torch and pitchforks. But I don't dislike it, but like HA it had HARD competition. JBG: really? This is disliked that bad? L'e-mail A Des Ailes: Again, REALLY? Who could NOT like that? Or CDP? Dude, perfect showcase of her vocal range! Décollage: personally, I like this one quite a bit. Limelight: my favorite part of this is epic violin intro. I miss LB' s violin pieces, like in ML and JEAM. Factory Girl: second favorite of UEdS! So, my opinions of my least favorites, and ones I think don't deserve to be here. Remember, I based these off the most common responses. I kind of took babyblue's list, and put a few others. Thanks, bb!

Voted: Abracadabra (because of the awful cat), Tempête, Décollage (sounds like Britney), La Candida (too short and too similar to songs from Mexican or Spanish soap operas).

I'm really surprised to see Lui ou toi, L'e-mail a des ailes and Mes fantômes there as those songs are amongst my favourites from the three albums they're from. I think if anything, this proves that Alizée produces very few substandard songs and the popularity of each song is left entirely down to personal prefences. This is a VERY good thing and she's the only artist I know of with such consistency

I couldn't bring myself to vote for any of the MCE songs. I felt that picking one would simply betray it, and myself. I like each of them, each is unique in its own way. So, I picked:

Abracadabra - I don't have that much against the cat, but I find the song sort of monotone, and short on lyrics.

L'effet - interesting to listen to a few times, but I don't think jazz and a melancholy tone really suit Alizée.

Une Fille Dificille - really embodies all of what I dislike about the new album: video game music, synthesizer-like and artificial sound, a concept theme, a darker tone.

I put L'e-mail because it had a few people suggest it. I personally love it. As for Mes Fantômes, I personally don't like it like other people do. Not bad, but I don't like how it never really changes its tempo. It feels a bit too consistent within itself.

I didn't vote for any of the songs on Gourmandises & MCE. I love them all & each is very different in their own way

I voted for:
Décollage - I like it at first, but i don't think i'm into this kind of style after a few listens.
La Candida - it's too short and sounds a bit sugary to me.

I voted Abracadabra. As I said before, its that damn cat. Plus it kinda gives me that cheesy halloween feeling sometimes. Not a horrible song though because I do listen to it, just far less than others.

So far, behind Abracadra more people have voted Cœur Déjà Pris, Décollage, and L'effet, but I like all of them. I find Cœur Déjà Pris and L'effet calming. And I don't have anything against Décollage. I enjoy listening to it and I can kinda find it cute at some parts. Kinda catchy too. But thats just me. The only one that really pops into mind when asked what my "least popular" or "least favorite" Alizée song is, is Abracadabra. I just like all her songs really.
