Yay! Feliz cumpleaños to Ewa Farna! Time to listen to some of her songs!

Hi. It's again me about concerts in North America. If anyone is interested. I don't know more exact dates and cities, but there will be two concerts in The American Czech-Slovak Cultural Club in North Miami, FL. October 14 & 15, one in Czech and one in Polish. Here's the poster:





Beside this, it's very likely that there will be a concert in Chicago, New York and maybe in Toronto, but no dates are available yet.

Those are two big concerts with other Polish musicians as well, not only Ewa, but also Ania Wyszkoni and band Video.
October 8, Eagle Arena 7600 S. Cicero Ave., Burbank, IL (Chicago)
October 9, Polski Dom Narodowy, 261 Driggs Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11222 Greenpoint; "Little Poland"
As you may notice, those are places with a lot of Polish Americans

Ewa's US dates have been cancelled as of today :-(

Early reports are of problems with the organisation and the promotion aspects of the mini tour.
As yet there is no word of anything being rescheduled.

That's a shame. I had hoped she would have a nice experience over here and possibly add to her fan base or open the door to more possibilities. Hopefully, she will come here someday.

Indeed Lefty. It's a great shame and a missed opportunity that's for sure.
Details are still sketchy at the moment but there are already questions regarding her Management's handling of this? It's a shambles.
Surely the arrangements for the shows had been arranged and the finite details sorted out weeks, if not months ago? If that was not the case, why?
Someone, somewhere has messed up, big time. Why the late, late cancellations?
Also the much rumoured contract talks with Disney? Is that now no longer happening? Was it ever happening?
There is going to be a lot of fall out from this one.
Ewa, herself, is not to blame. She's clearly very disapointed that it's not going ahead as planned. But someones to blame?
Her management's 'style' has been open to lot's of speculation amongst fan's for quite some time now. This fiasco isn't going to help.
Watch this space, methinks.

Yeah, it's a great song. Ewa has a big voice and her skills in using it seem already beyond a person of her age. Personally, I think her talent is too big to be contained in one or two countries. I guess we'll have to wait and see how far she wants to go with it.

Couldn't agree more.
It's what we can do now to make it happen?
The cancelled US dates were a golden opportunity missed but there is the 'possible' appearance at the MTV awards and the much rumoured English language album still to come.
Things are moving forward. Slowly but surely. It's all good.
