yes... walk or go by public transportation...
But when gas prices are high then will be price of bus ticket or another higher... like situation in our town... so I walk to school or job...
but it's summer, so is big change that high temperatures will kill me...
greatest idea is stay at home

People living out here in rural areas don't really have the pleasures of public transportation unless were still in school and use school buses, but other then that we have to rely on cars

Where I live in southern Missouri, prices are about $3.69. It's one of the cheaper prices around, but as far as how it's changed my habits, luckily the nearest grocery store is less than 2 miles away, so now I try to bike there if I don't need to buy that much. I just put everything in my backpack, which also saves me 5 cents for bringing in my own bag (which is a good idea in itself). But to be fair, I also bike there b/c my car's a POS and just in general I'm trying not to drive if I don't need to. I'm also thinking of taking a bike/bus route to work since the city's transit system and bike lanes are improving.

Aah. The frustrations of city life. I had the option to ride a train to NY every day (as my father did). I chose a more suburban lifestyle. The trade-off is having to drive 22 miles round trip to work each day.

Locally, I'm at $4.29. Over the river (in NJ), gas is a bargain - only $4.05.

Heres my genius plan to save money on gas: Blow up 5 cars a day, On days that start with T, you blow up cars of a person you dont like, On days starting with S, you blow up cars that dont exactly look perfect
And on your birthday, you blow up every car on your street.

They should start teaching people to ride horses again >.>
