BONUS: Names Hidden in Word Plays:
As Mylene Farmer's fans know well, this songwriter is extremely fond of hiding meanings in ostensibly common words. So is the case of her lyrics written for Alizée - for instance, Mylene tends to call Lilly a "wind"** in the lyrics written for her protegée (for "l'alizé" means "the trade wind").

Another word-metaphor for Lilly may be "l'eau" ("the water") for it's phoneticly identical with "Lo" (short for Dolores [Haze]) but as for that, I am not perfectly sure - perhaps Mylene means merely Lolita herself and not Lilly... This kind of word play appears in "Moi... Lolita" ("Lo de vie, lo aux amours diluviennes"), "Veni Vedi Vici" ("Un zeste de citron dans l'eau"), "L'email a des ailes" ("L'au...teur" - here, it's about emphasizing a part of the "autor").

Lilly is a nickname which appears only in one song of Alizée's post Lolita era - "Lilly Town".

Another hint for Lilly - and not only for her but also for Laurent Boutonnat and Mylene Farmer in collaboration with whom our angel begot "Gourmandises" and MCE - is J.B.G. --> Jacotey, Boutonnat, Gautier [Farmer's real name]

Other "hidden" persons and motifs in Lilly's songs:

Corsica:
J.B.G.: Et si ça se corse, / Elle se décorsette
Veni Vedi Vici: La vie est belle pimentée, corsée

Jeremy Châtelain:
Eden Eden: Les châtelaines au coeur scellé

Laurent Boutonnat:
L'email a des ailes: Son souffle qui m'entrouvre / Qui déboutonna ma vie

Mylene Farmer:
Moi... Lolita: Mi-coton, mi-laine

Yé-yé (music genre represented by France Gall, for instance):
Jeune fille: tu chanterais yéyéyé

Awesome thread! Especially the bonus part is very interesting for me. I only knew about the Mylène's name in Moi... Lolita

Cool you don't think I'm crazy to exaggerate about it all and overinterprete songs!

TBH you should make some allowances for that part - I'm 100% sure only about the wind thing (it's like I said, "trade wind") "L'email a des ailes" (both "deboutonnat" and "l'au...teur" - they are really evident, and as for the latter, the "lo" syllable is secluded from the rest of the word and visibly, it has been done for a reason - it's a manner in which Farmer and Gainsbourg enjoy to structure their lyrics...), ML and "Jeune fille" (last one comes from "5", an album inspired by France Gall's music which Alizée confessed to like so she must have known what yé-yé was even better than I do ). The rest is dotted with countless question marks...

Lo and behold!

I still need to correct all those accents and typos in that "dictionary" , it does take some time.

Debunking my own silly theorems () : the usage of the words doesn't completely cease. Or at least it's true for "le vent" - after spending some time with amazing lyrics of "L'effet" (which was a real pleasure for me, tbh), I've got to admit that "le vent" in sentences like:
Quote:
Les arbres sous le vent
Quote:
Le marbre sous le vent
lets itself interpret as THAT kind of a wind (alizé).

Well, I've said I've got much job to do.

The "dictionary" has been actuALIZÉEd (new sections: death, sadness, slight alternations in the already existing ones) and now I got a question to everyone: do you think I should include "14 décembre" in the "death" section? I suppose it can refer to Edie Sedgwick's death but I'm absolutely unsure. Damn, I promised myself to read one of her biographies long long time ago but you see, if you're occupied with writing pseudotranslations and posting your uncanny questions on forums, then you don't have much time left. Anyway, I'm real hazy about UEDS in general .

I think you really have a beautiful mind Jazzmin, if I may be so bold.
