Horribly embarrassing loss for Italy

. I'm not sure why Del Piero didn't start in place of Di Natale. When Donadoni subbed him out for Del Piero I think he realized his mistake, at least I hope he did. The absence of Totti/Inzaghi was obvious as was the absence of Cannavaro on defense. At least you all got your wish, it seems Italy will be exiting this tournament early.

Italy loses 3-0 thats horrible. Too the Dutch. No offense to the Dutch or anything though. Twas a good game though but I support my fellow Italians 100%

I would've taken Italy over Netherlands in my usual mind, but i'm glad Netherlands won, mostly due in part to Van Der Sar (This idiot's favorite goalkeeper).

I am just glad England didn't make it! It's hard to tell who could win it but I am going to go for France and Spain.

van der Sar did do a magnificent job. Imagine if he had hadn't saved Pirlo's free kick. It becomes 2-1 instead of 3-0, entirely different game.

YES BABY YES!!! Holland handed a 3-0 molestation to Italy.

I smell a first round exit for the Azzuri.

Italy got their ass handed to them and that dirty Italian ASS-WIPE Materazzi got injured. That was just icing on the cake.

Holy cow batman, Netherlands is damn good! This was easily the best game in the tournament so far. I hope my Les Blues learns a lesson from the beating that Holland just delivered. I don't know if France can contain this how powered Netherlands. Never in my wildest dream would I have thought the score would be 3-0, I was expecting more of a defensive game with 0-0 draw.

Overall a fantastic game. A classic!
