I am not sure why will Alizee won't be pleased? I don't think she cares about Spain or Russia or any other country, she only cares about how well her country, France performs. She is from France after all.

It's unfortunate France didn't get those 3 points. Watch Italy and Holland easily grab those 3 points, however, it will be intersting to see if Italy can crack the defense of Holland, I think it will be easier for them because Romania will probably try to score goals instead of just sitting back like they did against France. Les Blues just made things harder for themselves.

Goal from Sweden 1-0 and I thought this game will end in a 0-0 borefest.

In Group of Death team coming second won't be pleased to face Spain. What a performance from Torres and Villa. But Spain should really be judged by their performance against Sweden.

I think Romania was the toughest opponent for France because they would be the only team defending very deep. Netherlands is sure to offer some space at the back, France just needs to exploit it and stay solid at the back.

Panucci after getting pushed out by Buffon did not immediately come back as he should have the rest of the Italian line held their line and was back except him, so he is still in play. Thats why the football commentators on the various channels that were covering this game who really know the sport was saying, that the goal counts.

Regardless, Italy still would have lost 2-0, face it Holland just raped the Italians last night. It could have been 3-0 if Ibrahim Afleeya made that shot that hit the crossbar towards the end of the game, or 4-0 if Holland had further capitalized on their other chances.

So very sorry I don't have the official rules memorized, please forgive me, really no need to be a dick about it. I was simply going by what the commentators said. And if you want to make the case for 4-0, Italy had many chances they should have put away as well so you make quite a moot point.
