I never said that I didn't like the songs themselves, it's just I found his voice would get a little "funky" at times. Like when he sang the duet w/ Jennifer. When he sings soft I don't mind him. When he gets all pumped up and excited he starts losin me. I don't know if it's because I'm not used to the way French sounds all pepped up or if it's just Jeremy's voice. I don't get that little annoying tweak when I listen to other French singers, lol. Maybe it's Jeremy's French. Does Jeremy have an unusual accent?

Thanks for sharing, this was quite interesting. Yeah, his singing voice is a bit "funky" at times, but one can get used to it. In a way I'm a little relieved by what I saw in the video. With Jeremy so involved in the third album, I was worried over what kind of stylistic direction he might try to take Alizee in. I've had a hunch that Alizee's third album will transition more from pop, to more pop-rock as forshadowed by the likes of C'est Trop Tard (esp. en concert). If this is the kind of style that Jeremy goes for, I have a bit more confidence that Alizee will be able to maintain her playful, positive attitude in her music and natural beauty in her look, while still shaking her teen image. Yeah, I'm feeling good about this.

give him some credit or Alizee will be very angry if she hears you.

He slurs his words pretty severely when singing, especially when he's more energized. That's probably what you're hearing. I don't think his actual accent is weird (though the only time I've heard him speak is in that short interview clip posted here awhile back so I can't be sure), but his singing voice is definitely unique.
