LOL.

Matrix, we are all pretty sure it is a rough mix, so don't stress over it too much.

I hope they keep that detail, actually. I really liked it.

It's going to be a success either way, if the teaser is any indicator. But at least we're given something tangible. Heck I've been a fan just over a year, imagine those folks who waited longer for something just to quench their thirst.

Fifty/Sixty: Rough mix or roughest mix?

Seriously though. Mixing that properly would be about 4 hours of work, whats the dealio.

Silly frenchies taking their mid-day lunch/nap extravaganza and not getting anything accomplished.

Foresight of potential is the name of the game for recording (Thats how I work atleast!)

The right car gives you just as good of a sound as a studio's control room.

Infinitis are great for this

yea im pretty sure that was Jeremys voice on the track, sounds just like him. The oohs and ahhhs and Jeremy on the track just doesn't fly, but I did like that beat with his voice. If they just leave Alizees voice solo on the track its golden, and then erase the rest of that crap it will be a hit.

Actually, I'd disagree with you there. Even if you managed to get a car stereo with speakers as good as a nice pair of headphones, the speakers are still in positions that would muffle the sound, and you'd end up hearing mostly bass. Or are you that kind of guy? I wouldn't expect that from anyone who works with sound production .

I agree, Espire. I do my mixes in a room that has proper acoustics and monitors. But I like to check a mix in all the places people are likely to listen; cars, headphones, boom boxes and home stereo systems just to make sure it will sound OK in those environments. My "drive test" is more of an "emotional" check, not one for sonic accuracy.
