My feelings exactly. I've wondered if the English versions were actually targeted towards people who didn't speak French, but whose "second" language was English.

This may indeed be true. but I have personnal reasons that have nothing to do with Alizée for not liking the English Youpidoo. For me, it's the only Alizée song that is excluded from any of my playlists and I don't particularly enjoy listening to it.

I listen to the French version more, but I love watching this video.

You can not deny how amazingly cute she is in that video. I love her accent, and the playfulness of how she says the English lyrics plau how amazingly cute she is in thos clips make that an awsome video.

I love the part of the song where she does that little laugh as she is singing. It is the part in the video when she walks through the doors, and looks at the camera and does that one finger wave.

That would make sense, because her large fanbase in Germany, as well as in Japan, probably all learned English as a required second language in school.

Being naturally nosy, of course I have to ask what your personal reasons are. You don't have to answer, but I do have to ask. So I did.

Ah! I forgot, I was going to mention that last time. Maybe the song is worth while just for that [Mon chouchou!] (not that I don't like it anyway)! (it's just the thing about the bees that leaving saying . I guess I need to check out a discussion of this song in English because I just don't get what that is supposed to mean.)
