There's been no official word about Fifty-Sixty except that it will be on the album. The album will be released at the end of November. That being less than two months away, I would expect that the remaining singles from the album will be released after the album itself rather than before.

Yeah, I'm lost as to what everyone disliked about 50/60. Do most French fans really think 50/60 is significantly worse than MJ? 50/60 had a good reception for the most part on this site, where was it disliked? Alizee Alliance? Alizee-Forum?

It seems as if everybody was expecting Alizée to be the same; mysterious lyrics tied to beautifully composed contemporary music. Of course, that Alizée is gone for now, and instead we have a new Alizée, who is very different, but just as lovely.
I think that the dislike from many fans was simply a refusal to accept that Alizée had changed; by the time Mademoiselle Juliette was leaked, most had gotten over this.

The idea of an artist staying the same is more frightening than of the artist changing. Albums are supposed to be different from one another. If you want to listen to Gourmandises, go get Gourmandises not Psychédélices.

whats harder to believe is that she or her record label would actually change the first single to be released based on the reaction of a few fans on a different continent
