Looks like the happy couple bought an average sized Parisian home in the suburbs.

Actually 886sy would be 150'x53', not an atypical lot size for a town located so close to a major city. 60'x130' would be very typical.
The property would likely have a decent back yard. If fenced in, it would be a nice safe place for Annily to play.


As the town is only 6 miles from the center of Paris, I wonder if the Subway runs that far? Can you picture Alizée taking the subway to work.

haha, no le métro does not go that far and are you guys really sure about the size being the plot of land? Why would the reports say the place is huge? They are French. I can see me making all kinds of mistakes in understanding, but not them. They did say that right or did I miss everything here?

I could see Alizee using the subway on days were there is too much traffic or shes too tried to drive. All she needs is a pair of sun glasses and a hat so few people as possible will recognize her.

You read it right, but they wrote it wrong.

It's clear that that nonsense news came from 1 source and was copied by other "news parrots".
5 minutes of Google/Google earth tells you what, where, when and even how much.
It's all public information published days before the so called "news".

Ce n'est pas un château, it's in an average neighbourhood and they bought it for a peanut price.

Ooh, I was so wrong! Stupid! Of course, Villejuif. Maybe that's why I remember seeing the name of that place. Of course I never went out that far. And the map's not at all to scale. That's way farther.

Well, ok, there you go. That's why we have other people verify stuff. Though again, it's something that doesn't really matter anyway. Well, where I live now is a great time to buy, however, looking on the net, Villejuif is not a cheap place to buy. No way. I should have looked into that before. There's one house for sale right now, 7 rooms around 320M^2 with a plot of land about 1059M^2 for 1,267,000€ or a 10 room house of 300m2 for 899,000€. That's as big as I could find on a couple sites. Or on the other side, how about one of 160m2 for 735,000€? Ok, people you do the math.
