Yeah, the media here at least is mostly out to make money, and to do that they need to sell advertising. So they take everything and sensationalize it. It draws in the masses and keeps their attention.

'Chechnya' is a region of the Russian Federation.

It is not an independent Country.

You are quite wrong
Someone on Alizee Forum is hardly an indication of the depth of feeling in the former Czechoslovakia.
Clearly a much larger percentage of them don't want to reunite or they would not have split in the first place.
I could be wrong but i've never heard of any popular movement either in the Cze or in Slovakia for that to happen.
Czech and Slovak are two seperate languages although they do have a lot of similarities.
Their cultures are unique to each country.
