Alizee in HD

Hey guys, I don't if you know this but just recently there has been several HD videos out their of Alizee's performance. Some the newer ones (from 2008) are in it's native HD 720P. While her older performances from the MCE era have been up-converted to HD 720P but it's still not true HD 720P (but I think it still looks alot better) than the regular quality videos. I thought I would post links to some I found. You have to actually click on the video to go to Youtube's website and click on HD to get it in the larger 720P screen.

It's a real shame that Full HD (1920*1080) wasn't around in the MCE era...

*Edit*: Just came about a video that explains that there is now "a method for enhancing low resolution video using high resolution still images of the same scene." It seems the still images have to be shot from exactly the same angle for the method to work. But think about it: Sooner or later someone will probably figure out the algorithms to have this enhancement process work with any additional high res photo material. And there are some high-res photos of her best MCE performances, no?

Thanks Ali. The true HD videos are nice, though I'm not sold on the up sampled ones. Yeah, they look better than old SD YouTube, but not as good as the source files. YouTube is nice and convenient, and has made leaps and bounds in quality lately, but doesn't beat downloading the original clips, HD or otherwise. Awesome thanks for the videos but you might want to remove the I'm fed up - HD video, seems the uploaded thought it would be funny to put a screaming troll mid-way through the video, wondered why the rating was so low and the people in the comments are going nuts lol . Anyway the other videos are probably fine, thanks again.

Well, not by upscaling, if that was your thought...
Scanning a decent 35mil. print to 2k + touch-up, colorgrading etc. is the way.

All of this so called "YouPoop HD" actually has nothing to do with HD.
It's not even close to native PAL/NTSC quality.

I call a BMW 7 a comfortable car.
A guy in Sudan would probably think the same about a 30 year old Peugeot 505.
