In any case, I like her voice.

It's usually pretty easy to tell if she's lip syncing or not; her actual singing sounds different. Her actual concerts are never synced as far as I know, but TV appearances and other promotional things are lip synced, probably for promotion purposes.

of course she lip syncs, otherwise that little red fish might not swim that much.....
look at the newest video of her singing Mlle Juliette... either they thought it was cool to have her sing along with her track, or somebody forgot to turn down the volume on her mic. ---------- above all, if alizée is in a room... I don't care if she is singing or tying her shoes or doing long division... either way I'm going to have a good time

This has been discussed before. The French TV stations and shows like everything to sound as good as is possible. If you notice in her live concerts, her band is quite large, compared to the four or so musicians that play behind her on most TV appearances.
The songs will never come off sounding close to the recordings, if sung live on TV shows, which defeats the purpose of being seen singing on these TV shows. They want the public to get the best sounding performance possible. It is more for this reason that Alizée rarely will be seen singing live on TV appearances, smaller concerts, or larger live appearances such as at the Eiffel Tower when she has no band of the size needed to do the song properly or where she is only doing a couple of songs. As Scruffy Dog said, it still sounds great coming through the computer speakers, not to mention how superb she looks as well! |
