This is interesting, since Alizée is not really promoting anything right now. Normally she disappears between albums, with the exception of Les Enfoirés.

I believe this may be the case.
 Or, at least. keeping herself in the public eye, so that any possible interest the public may have, will be reinforced by her ongoing media presence. Then, when she does (hopefully) announce a new CD to be coming out, people will realize that she has not gone away, as she did before.
