I just 'membered something. I didn't think of it when you were talking about the book, but when you mentioned [on facebook] looking for The Little Prince on Netflix it reminded me that I have it on tape!

I'm amazed that I still have this tape after however many years and moving three times.

The thing is, I don't think I've ever watched it. Not in its entirety, anyway. I remember watching Rip Van Winkle once when I was a kid, and losing interest by the time The Little Prince had started.

I downloaded the torrent for The Little Prince with Willy Wonka...

I'm not one to often call things cute, but good god that little kid is the cutest kid I've ever seen. I knew what was going to happen to him and when it did I was all "NAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Y U DO THAT"

I went to my boyfriend's baccalaureate ceremony today and I swear to god the guest speaker was AWFUL

Also I didn't know I was going beforehand so I had on torn-up shorts and a t-shirt while everyone else had formal black dresses.

I think today I witnessed the birth of a car chase. I was taking my sister to go see the pirates of the caribbean movie and then all of a sudden a car goes by at like 75 in a 55... a secret cop (dunno if there's a name for them that I'm forgetting, but they look like normal cars but then suddenly, lights) goes nuts and starts following, then ANOTHER secret cop drives over the median and follows. Then instead of the pulling over, the person speeds up and turns right onto a dirt road.

Second thought of the day: Have you ever realized at a later time you were shot multiple times in the heinie and, at the time, had no clue?

And, if you answered yes, have you ever found it so peculiar that said welts peculiarly formed a peculiar form reminiscent of a smiley face?

I would take a picture to show you guys but... well, you know...

Two nights ago I went for a midnight walk and a couple streets away from me a bunch of people at an apartment complex were huddled around a guy on the ground who wasn't moving. I walked up as the cops, firetruck and ambulance arrived. It was one of those 5 story buildings where all of the entrances face out towards the street so there were like 80 people watching.

A couple of the cops took off down the street I just came from so I'm lucky I got there at that point otherwise they might have thought I clubbed that guy or something, especially since I had been jogging a little.

The next day I found out that at that same time five people were shot a quarter of a mile away in the other direction at a place I drive by all the time. My new neighborhood kicks ass.
