Default Star Wars

Happy May the 4th to everyone!

And, like a true Star Wars fan, I'll gladly take this opportunity to argue about which movie/trilogy is inherently the best and which is the worst

But jokes aside, my favourite Star Wars film (though I'll admit it's not what I think is the best, rather just the one I like personally) is Episode 8 The Last Jedi.

I'd say Empire is probably the best film of the bunch when taking away my rose-tinted glasses. But I do think The Last Jedi is still very good regardless.

If anyone else here is a Star Wars fan please let me know your thoughts!

Hi, Ben.
I'm a Star wars fan too, but I must admit that I haven't watched the first movies for years, so I don't have a precise overview of the saga. However I watched the last trilogy at the cinema, so it is still "fresh" in my memory... more or less.

My favourite chapter is Episode III - Revenge of the sith. I had the ps2 game and I used to play it a lot, so I guess that's why I'm particularly attached to this movie. Also there is the best character of the whole SW universe that plays a main role: Obi-Wan.
I also like General Grievous, who has one of the best character design of the saga, in my opinion.

As for the worst, I can't give a proper answer for the reason I said above, but I found the last trilogy quite disappointing and the last two movies are probably the worst, I think. I remember that Episode VIII was full of plot holes, whilst Episode IX is based on a character that shouldn't have been there. But, again, I should watch them again. I like Kylo Ren though.

Well Episode 8 is certainly a controversial one. Either love it or hate it situation. I think most people at least recognise Adam Driver's good performance of Kylo Ren, even if some don't agree with the character's writing (I really love it personally).

As for Episode 3, it's easily the best of the prequels (in my opinion) and definitely deserves good praise.

Since watching Episode 9 in theatres I haven't got back to it. Not because I hated the film, though it was just ok, but just haven't bothered to get around to it. To be honest I haven't been as keen as before to watch the most recent episodes of the Mandalorian or keep up with news within the franchise as much. There's a few things about the franchise/fandom which are just a bit draining and hard to keep up with, but that's just how it often is with this franchise, I'll be back soon.

I’m a Star Wars fan and I especially like all three of the originals. (you may be too young to understand, lol)

But I have to say that now that I know Alizée, she’s even better than all those movies! Easily!!!

The Original Trilogy were some of my favorite films growing up and I have nothing but good things to say about them - they are classics for a reason. I outgrew my interest in Star Wars at some point, when I was 11 or 12 I think.

I wouldn't consider myself a Fan at all but I still went to see every single Movie they've released under the Disney banner. "The Force Awakens" and "Rogue One" are really good imo, I've actually seen them a couple times. "The Last Jedi" was... I don't know. It was good but I was definitely among those people, that were surprised with the direction the Story took. Honestly, that one didn't really do it for me. "Solo" was enjoyable but kinda "been there, done that". But I believe it worked well for what it was. And then the last one was about as good as I had expected going in, since I had heard about the complaints people had. I guess it worked well as a Series Finale even if it was a little underwhelming.

I haven't seen the Prequel Trilogy so far, so I can't really give an opinion on them.

I'll still probably enjoy whatever is to come. Don't really need to be a Fan of the Universe for that.

I have to admit I liked the first Star Wars movie. The others I thought were well done...but the first is my favorite.
