So…

Early, to midweek IG posts?

There may be a few…

Oh dear…

Just, such a sweet pic…

If this shot does not make you smile back, broadly, in return, theeen, you must be "dead", or, "Scottish", or "something"…

Another excellent pic from Jo…

Cache-cache” roughly translates as “hide and seek”…

<Hey bébé>

<Gives little wave>

Sweet, sweet, tiny little lady…

Both of them…

These are very nicely done…

Is it just me, or do some of these seem to be more than vaguely familiar?

Hmm?

Y’all take care, be safe, “take a leaf out of” little bébé Maggy’s “book”, and stay warm, for we have a couple of really cold days, coming up...

So…

Weekend IG posts?

Yeps, there are a few…

Fin de journée de cours au @studiodedanselyonnetajaccio” roughly translates as “End of course day at @studiodedanselyonnetajaccio

Meilleur moment de mercredi” roughly translates as “Best moment of Wednesday”.

<waves>

2 mois”.

Sweet, sweet baby girl…

Both of them…

<Snaps off a couple of little “cutesy” waves>

Comme un dimanche roughly translates as “Like a Sunday”.

Pour répondre à vos nombreuses questions concernant les coussins. Vous pouvez les trouver ici. @ondine_csao” roughly translates as “To answer your many questions about the cushions. You can find them here @ondine_csao ”.

It wasn’t me, I didn’t do it…

I could think of many questions for Alizée, but, “Alizée, your gorgeousness, where do you get your cushions”, is not one of them…

Nopes…

That’s be the last flippin’ thing in the universe that I’d be asking…

Probably…

"Mode week end activé"

Sweet, sweet boy…

Guarding lifes most important little treasures…

Check out his paws…

If she as much “stirs” in her sleep, he will know…

<Pats Jon Snow, several times>

La classe ça ne s'invente pas. #queenforever” roughly translates as “Class cannot be invented #queenforever”

Tells you exactly how Alizée feels about her…

Mylène is “utterly talented”, still “stunningly beautiful”, and literally, has the “prescence”, and, "regal bearing” of a “queen”…

And “trips” every “alarm” that I have, on every “level”…

What is it I’m not seeing?

I hate it when I “miss”, something…

I swear that I passed this little guys “brother” in North Tulsa…

You just, don’t want to be there, when the light starts to "fade"…

#dollyparton #dollypartonchallenge

Eh, huh, wut…

Damn, he was fit…

Yet again, respect for Greg…

Now, you won’t see me doing that…

Would break the “interwebs”…

Not in a good way, either…

<Sigh, “once upon a time”>

Did have a 12-pack, etc, etc, etc, in my "salad days", but still had a comparatively high “body fat ratio”, for due to my “job”, it was very necessary, for I spent a lot of time, in, or on, water, especially in “northern climes”…

“No body fat” = “hypothermia” in record time…

MY ex “boss”, an “ex farmer”, liked his “young men” to have quite a bit of “finishing” on them. That little bit of strategic “fluffiness”, on “key” muscle groups, meant it took you comparatively longer to suffer from “exposure”, or anything similar…

Which, I was often very, very glad about…

Looking “ripped” is “cool”, and is great for attracting, emmm, “positive regard”, so to speak, but my “line” of work required us to "stay warm", and, not be noticed, in any situation, ever…

Trust me, I’m very very good at the “not being noticed”, thing…

It makes for an “easier”, “calmer”, less “complicated” life…

Which is a “good” thing, trust me…

Y'all take care, stay warm, and, please, just be, excellent, to each other...

I think the life of Maggy will be well documented on Instagram.

Alizee is like a "new mom" all over again and like most new parents, dozens of photos of the baby are taken every day. Not so much when my kids were little because developing film was quite pricey. With digital, there is nothing stopping you besides available hard drive space.

Just have to keep watching as the year goes on to see if anything pops up that might indicate what Alizee will be doing professionally in the future.

I don't think it's possible to have zero body fat but Greg is about as close as they come. But Tinder? Greg looks much younger there and I'm sure it was pre-Alizee days.

Back from vacation in Spain where I was plagued by a lousy wifi connection at my hotel, making it take forever to just get a few comments out.

Thank you RedRafe for posting those pictures which allowed me to catch up some what on goings on.

In case anyone is unfamiliar with the format of Greg's Facebook/LinkedIn/Instagram/Tinder picture - it is a meme that's going around where you make a collage of pictures of you that would be supposedly uploaded to each social media site under its respective context. I hope Alizée posts one of her own, it's pretty funny

Actually this was at the end of 2014: https://www.instagram.com/p/xHNW9KMbeS/

I've seen Greg be less ripped (pictures on the beach with Alizee), but I think he knows when to cut and lose water as well to look as cut as possible during showtime.

It's amazing that he can keep in shape the way he does. I'm sure he's proud of his physique as he should be. Here they make a little bit fun out of his attempt to show it off with the excuse of scratching his head during week 7 of Dals. It's hilarious the look on Alizée's face at the end.

I have a physique similar to Greg's, tho almost never as cut (he probably had around 8% bodyfat at some point, I maybe have had 10% at one point). If it were my job I'm sure I could get even more similar looking. Tho I have no where near the energy levels he has when it comes to dancing!

My body type is more like a lineman in football (American), and that is what I played when much younger. You are expected to add as much body mass as possible. When I hit the big 5-0, I hired a personal trainer who was an ex female competitive body builder and now trains younger people wanting to do the same. I wasn't in the "younger people" camp, but she couldn't say no to my money, so for the next year I followed her regimen. Both in the gym and a diet she designed. A year later I lost a bunch of excess weight, was in the best shape of my life and felt great, but there was no way I could get below 13% body fat, and I had to work extremely hard to get to that. My family and friends freaked out, thinking I was wasting away from some kind of disease.

That kind of regimen was unsustainable long term. I was absolutely no fun to go out to eat with because I would order half a chicken and nothing else. I think in the end body type is genetics. As RedRafe suggested, those whose ancestry is from the colder regions carry a higher percentage of body fat to help with survival.

A couple of shots of Alizée’s tiny little miss sweetness, Maggy…

<Snaps off a couple of cutesy little waves>

Firstly, deepest respect for the type of training regimen you undertook, when you “hit the big 50”…

It’s daunting, and, very hard to sustain at any age, long term, unless you are very very dedicated. I got utterly sick of eating literally nothing but Chicken or Turkey, chased by Sliced tomato, Cucumber and Broccoli. Oh, and drinking “protein shakes” that tasted like a combination of a cheap milkshake “gussied up” with a chalky antacid remedy…

Blaaghh…

Now, I will admit, that after I left the “Forces”, with regard to overall “fitness”, I did “let things go”, a bit…

There was no need to go for a 10 time mile run at 4:30am every morning, nor spend 3, or more, hours in the gym everyday, just to maintain a very high fitness level, that was no longer necessary, nor required…

I wasn’t a soldier, any more…

There were no more “enemies of freedom and justice” to be “fended off”. No more “Dragons” to "slay". No more "Princesses" to "rescue", no more "Goddesses", that required “impressing”…

I got “lazy”, “bored”, and put on a “bit” of weight, which did not "suit" me, and tried the very same thing with regard to fitness, at the same age, as you did...

However, no matter how hard I tried, I was never ever going to be as fit, as I was before, age simply wasn’t going to allow it, and my poor body, well, it had been VERY well “used”, and this new exercise regime just felt like “unwarranted” and “pointless” punishment...

It really “sucks”, getting older, so it does…

<sigh>

Now with regard to “body type”, I’m an “ectomorphic mesomorph, with very slight endomorphic tendencies”…

“Long”, “lean” and muscular, buuttt, if I don’t actively maintain these muscles, they tend to vanish pretty quickly, and instead, “treacherously” replace themselves with midline “fluffiness”, given half a chance…

Not a good “look” for me…

<Sigh>

Once, in my military career, I actually got as low as 10% bodyfat, kind of accidentally…

At that point, I was 6’ 3”, weighing 196lbs, which was almost a “perfect” according to contemporary BMI ratings/measurements...

Sounds great, doesn’t it, but, when my girlfriend saw me, she cried, long and very hard, and not in a “good” way. These were NOT “tears of joy”…

Very long story, short, i’d been sent off on a “gig”, waay up north, that went “awry”, and the “op” took 17 days, instead of it’s projected 9, due to horrendously bad weather. I had supplies for 12 days, averaging a required consumption of around 6500 to 7500 calories, per day…

You can imagine how that went…

245lbs going out, 196lbs coming back…

As one of my senior NCO’s put it, “Cheese and Rice” Red, you look like a bloody “Racing Ferret”, or “something”, now. I’ve seen more meat on a “Butchers Pencil””…

Never could never quite figure out what a “Racing Ferret” was, but got the general “analogy”, and after the initial shock, my “Irish Godessness” grew to appreciate my new, “slinky”, look…

Took me a year to get back my accustomed “fighting trim”…

Never again…

Looking “ripped” was definitely not a good look, for me, at all, either…

Y’all take care, be safe, and, please stay warm, ‘k…
