Doesn't Dancerman have a dance studio there as well? I guess Ajaccio isn't big enough for three dance studios. I hope this doesn't drive a wedge in between the people involved.

On her facebook page Monique shared Alizée's post with the comment "Love for ever", so no hard feelings there. She explained that the school is closing after 38 years. Now it's time to step down and concentrate on other things, spend time with the family etc. I don't know how old she is and if she had run the school from the very beginning all on her own but if she started in her 20s she must be in her late 50s or early 60s. It's not surprising that she wants to take things a bit more slowly.

The straight line distance from Madame Mufraggi's studio is about a mile and one half, so I have to think Studio Lyonnet drew some students away from her, especially with their star power. Hopefully she'll have a happy retirement.

I tried to find some information on Dancerman1 which is how I usually refer to him as but his name is Pierre Antoine ( The man with two first names is how he is sometimes referred to also.) and I can't help but think maybe he moved to Paris or the mainland at least.

I saw this posted today on FB. I'm not sure how old this video is. I haven't seen it before. This woman does a good job, but I think Alizée is still the champ!
