Amelie hopefully to be played at wedding.
The daughter of one of my cousins is getting married tomorrow night and I will be attending it. I wrote in another thread about how all three of his kids, another duaghter and a son, had seen the movie Amelie, on seperate occassions. In fact it is one of the favorite movies of the other daughter.
On the invitation, they asked people to pick out a song they'd like to hear. Well Amelie came quickly to mind and I suggested it. I have no idea if it will be played at this point, but I'm hopeful. All my other efforts along these lines at other weddings had gone for naught, so I'm trying not to be too optimistic, so I wont feel let down again. If it is played, I'd like to film it. I'm even hoping to dance to it and maybe have someone else film it, but I guess that's probably going to be a matter of timing. I'll probably be powdering my nose when it's played. If I film it, I don't know if I can post it, without possibly pissing off some people, but maybe I could make it private. I'll just have to play it by ear. It would be something to hear Alizee's music at this wedding. |

Scruffy, I hope it gets played! Did you request the French language version or the English one?

Don't you hire professional cameramen for recording everything?

Well the bride and groom usually hire someone to take videos or pictures, but they wont necessarily film the whole reception and even if they did, they might not want to make it available to everyone, so the best way to make sure you get video of it, is to film it yourself.
