Yes, for this one, you have to pay a monthly fee.
You get a whole array of skills depending on what class/role you wish to play as. A Chaos Chosen for example would have abilities like Cleave (an overhead attack that deals damage), or something like morale boosters that give your character's "buffs" or "enhancements".

Unlike WoW, WAR is a very passive MMO and I had no problem turning it off. That is what this is all about though, so we can quest together and level together, and fight and kill other players together. It is more fun to play with friends, indefinitely, and i'm just gathering a bunch of friends to play together.

15 USD every month, or shell out 25-30 USD for a game card that lasts for two months.

yes there is a monthly fee it is about $15 a month I believe

and it works a lot like an RPG game

if you want to have the best character you will have to spend a lot of time on it, but you don't have to, it all depends on how far and how fast you want to get to the top
