I think it'll just be a whole lot more convenient it it was in Chicago. I mean, it's in the Midwest, and that way fans from both coasts don't have to travel to the opposite end of the US!

And you know, I live less than an hour away.

Completely agree. Also, I only see it right that Alizée do at least one perfmance in the "Windy City", seeing as Alizée is the feminine form of alizé, the trade wind. Plus, I too live the the midwest

Hahaa! Excellent point there, I didn't make the "Windy city" and the Alize connection.

Just adds another reason why it should be in Chicago!

I also feel that Chicago isn't as full of people or as crazy busy as the streets of New York are.

It would depend on time, money, transportation for me too. NYC is probably out of the question... it's an eight hour drive from home, and virtually inaccessible from college (in NY's north country). Syracuse could work, as could Buffalo and Rochester in the summer (Watertown or Ogdensburg otherwise).

i would rather she do a concert in a american midwest country, its simple no high expectations, easier crowd 2 please, and spread the interest, whereas new york there's no interest, harder crowd 2 please, and very very high expectations and more negative criticism than positive no matter if she finished or in the middle of it

Maybe you could send a grandchild armed with a camcorder (they start at $50 now) in your stead? I'm sure they would have helped you go see Annette if they were around when you were young!
