and just think, if i never discovered Alizee, i would hear the song in the movie and think nothing of it...'just some french song' i would say to myself

Some people who don't know Alizee probably will react just that way, but hopefully the song will get the attention of others. Sometimes you hear an unfamiliar song in a movie and think, "Hey! I like that! I wonder who that is?" Hopefully this song will elicit that sort of response in some viewers and lead them to discover Alizee. I think it's great that she's getting this kind of exposure.
