It's so obvious when you see his body language, he really considers Mylène as his "thing" ... yeah a puppet is the best word describe the way he interacts with people under his command... and I suspect it was probably the same regarding his behavior with lili.. He must have really powerful psychologically persuasive skills... Such a smart mind.. to me, he's both fascinating and scary

Yes, LB’s body language is quite revealing... and there are plenty of other evidence that show MF was basically his puppet. I think Alizée was also his “thing”, but maybe not the same way MF was.

Myself, I don’t see how ‘Et tournoie’ refers to this particular subject (even with the "pantin translucide" reference). But I would say that MF definitely knew that she was used as a puppet. After all, it was pretty obvious. I believe she just went along with it because she saw an opportunity that she never could have had without LB.

Rev, don’t forget that LB is a very, very strange individual. You cannot think and analyse his work and his influence as you would analyse that of an average type of guy. There are pretty dark and occult concepts in there. All evidence seems to indicate that, for LB, MF was not so much a performer, but rather an instrument. She was more like an “object” that could be manipulated and controlled. This is not figuratively speaking; this is a real case of a man who used an artist in a way that she becomes a puppet serving his art.

I don’t believe LB approached the Alizée concept the same way. For starters, Alizée was quite different from MF and I am not sure the “puppet” thing would have worked very effectively. Nevertheless, I think he still did use some concepts that are related to mind control, as in the JPVA and PTB videos.
