I think she wants to have a measured level of fame and fortune. I do think she would miss it if it was completely gone, but she doesn't want to be crazy famous and crazy busy. She really enjoys her leisure time and doesn't seem to have that "fire in the belly" that the more successful artists do. I don't think she even had it in her hay day. I've always said that I don't think Alizée is a very industrious person. I'm not saying this to criticize her, I just feel she's not as driven as many other artists.

If you add to that the fact that she is not a songwriter and does not play any instruments... makes me think how fortunate she (or anybody like her) is to have made a career and still having the chance of keep going. I can not think of many more cases like her... And you as musician know better than me! Is not a strange thing for me the fact that she goes shopping or she tries to have a good time almost every day of the year...

Alizee's cats are expensive especially with those beautiful blue eyes! The one on the left is also really pretty but I like the stripped one she posted a few days ago better
